Fishing Lake Burton

Lake Burton is nestled into the beautiful mountains of north Georgia and is LOADED with GIANT largemouth and spotted bass. Flukes, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits, topwater, swimbaits, underspins, spybaits, spoons and swim jigs are all great choices when chasing these big spotted and largemouth bass!

Areas
Points, shoals, pockets, steep channel swing banks and bays that have brush around them hold a lot of the big schools of spotted bass. The largemouth are beginning to act more like spotted bass but the big largemouth are still positioning around brush, grass, docks and other shallow structure. Deep brush always holds fish, whether they are fish in transition or suspended they will lock on to brush and wait for bait to go by.
